Cell Phone Caller Courtesy
With no end in sight for the ever-increasing popularity of the cell phone, consumers continue to get more attached to their devices. This attachment can unfortunately lead to a lack of consideration and courtesy. As much as you may be dazzled by the innumerable features on your gadget try and take notice of the following grievances commonly cited on internet forums:
1. Private conversations in public: Does everyone on the bus really need to hear you tell your mom the reason for your doctor’s visit?
2. Holding up the line: Whether it’s at the gym or on the golf greens, making people wait their turn because you’re making a call is pretty self-indulgent.
3. Talking while driving:Â Some drivers have enough trouble concentrating as it is and cell phones have been proven to cause more accidents, hence why some governments have banned their use on roads.
Watch the etiquette!

In the wake of the trend that saw mobile phone producers competing to see who could develop the thinnest cellphone, the torch has now passed on to the laptop industry. Earlier this year, Apple released their MacBook Air which is just over a foot wide and weighs in at 3 pounds. Not to be outdone by competitors, Dell have put together the E-Slim Notebook due to hit store shelves later this summer. Until that time, Lenovo have the smallest laptop available with their ThinkPad X-series.
